The Coronavirus or COVID-19 has taken the world by storm. It is the type of virus that typically affects the respiratory tracts in humans and it can also affect the guts.

The common symptoms include:

  • Common Cold

  • Bronchitis

  • Pneumonia

  • Runny Nose

  • Sore Throat

  • Cough

  • Fever

  • Difficulty in Breathing

Healthcare specialists and governing authorities around the world have been trying to make people aware of the situation and the precautions to tackle this deadly pandemic.

Some of these precautions are:

  • Practising the golden rule of “Social Distancing”.

  • Avoiding touching your mouth, nose and eyes as your hands can carry the virus into your body.

  • Washing hands with soap and disinfectant at regular intervals.

  • Drinking hot water.

  • Gargling with hot water mixed with a pinch of salt at least once during the day.

However, while combating this pandemic, it is also advisable to limit the use of water while following the rule of washing your hands for 20 seconds. It is not necessary to keep the tap open till the time you have finished rubbing your hands with the soap as it can lead us to another crisis while tackling the other one.

Further, there have been doubts among the people regarding the spread of the virus through the water.
